W1derus Educational Workshops
Helping children and youth find what they like to do, stay focused, and strengthen their talents, gifts, and skills to be positive contributors in their communities.
Children Ages 3-11 and Youth ages 12-17
Our workshops for children and youth are designed to ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. We begin each session with clear goals and objectives. We tailor the content and activities to ensure authentic and meaningful engagement. The topics are relevant to their interests and include educational and relatable elements. The activities are interactive and hands-on to make for better learning experiences. We incorporate technology when needed. Our facilitators are from diverse backgrounds and are trained to work with young people.
While each workshop is unique, we hope the participants leave with an understanding of how to incorporate and promote collaboration and teamwork skills into their everyday interactions. We hope these skills augment their social skills to build on their talents and gifts to strengthen their confidence, self-compassion, and overall mental health.
W1derus utilizes the Remember, Reflect, Change, and Maintain (RRCM) approach developed by Founder and Director, Nicole Cummings-Morgan.
